These two have an extra reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving! David spent more than a month planning his big surprise to pop the question and well…spoiler alert: SHE SAID YES!

How he asked

David’s family hid out in the Caribou Coffee in Downtown Wayzata to watch the proposal unfold while Libby’s sister (huge shoutout) brought the unsuspecting bride-to-be down the streets to benches overlooking Wayzata Bay. We lucked out that “MinneSNOWta” made its first lasting snowfall of the season yesterday which provided an extra touch of beauty to the backdrop.

The more the merrier

It was so much fun to have members of their families there to immediately congratulate the newly engaged couple! The celebrations had an extra level of sentimentality as David proposed to Libby with her mother’s wedding ring, who passed away growing up. That personal touch was the perfect addition to this happy day.

How they met

David and Libby are high school sweethearts who met in health class junior year and spent the last six years smitten together. That love is about to skyrocket over the coming months as they prepare to officially tie the knot!!

All that glitters
