How did my little cousin get to be so grown up?!
We arrived at Como Park to take her senior pictures and I was completely in awe. It was a beautiful day, right at golden hour as the summer sun was setting, yet it was made all the more beautiful by HER and her JOY. It might have been because she was full of anticipation for the last week of the high school (hellooooo freedom) or the fact that she had recently passed her EMT certification… but either way she was BEAMING and that light within her was contagious!
As we talked about her plans for the future, I felt overwhelmed with pride for her and the adventures that lie ahead. It wasn’t just the many accomplishments she has achieved (which is truly a long litany of awards from honors societies and scholarships), but about the person she has become. A few weeks later, she put together these images in an album for her grad party and filled the pages between her images with inspirational quotes and biblical proverbs that reflected the heart behind all she does. As I flipped each page, I knew that she has been able to do what she has done because of the faith and trust in God’s plans that has sustained her.
Her brilliance and faith are certainly going to lead her to great places that are waiting for her and it is going to make a positive impact on this world. We wish you all the best, Molly, as you join the Class of 2022 at St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota.
