Each senior session is tailored to the person, so that your fun-loving, easy-going, playful, or relaxing personality shines through in your photos.
Choose at least two outfits to feature your range of fashion styles and feel free to bring a jacket, hat, or other accessory to the photoshoot so that you can use to dress up/down one of our outfits. This saves time and gives you extra variety without needing to do a whole outfit change.

SESSION
Grab your besties and celebrate the last hoorah together with a short and sweet cap and gown session together. It's a mini version of our standard sessions. We'll take a mix of large group shots together and give each person a chance to shine with their own portraits.
Want to showcase the next chapter too? Bring along a tee or hoodie for the college you're headed to and we'll snap pics of you (and your group!) in that too!

I am a born and raised Minnesota gal who is all about having fun together and making genuine connections with the people I photograph. Our clients always rave about my calm yet upbeat presence that helps them feel comfortable and confident in front of the lens.
With 10+ years of experience shooting senior pictures under my belt, I have plenty of tricks up my sleeves to break your nerves. You'll be amazed how fast the time flies and how much variety we can capture in such a short amount of time.
When I'm not shooting portraits and weddings, I'm chasing my toddler around the house, cuddling on the couch to binge a new TV show with my husband, or having heart to hearts with friends over (iced) coffee.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK A SESSION?
At this time senior picture sessions are only available outdoors from May to October. The fall is the busiest time of a photographer's season with weddings and family holiday cards picture sessions, so I encourage you to book a session earlier in the year if possible to ensure the most availability, best weather, and lots of gorgeous daylight.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
You will receive an online gallery to your high-resolution edited images. Download, share, save, and print your images directly from your gallery.
CAN I PUT A FILTER ON MY IMAGES?
I ask you not to put filters on the images we take, especially when sharing on social media sites. The only exception is turning an image to black and white. I believe that part of choosing a photographer is for their editing style. An image on social media with a filter on it is no longer representative of the photographer's artistic work. Your online network may not know the difference between how I edited the image and the filter you applied which can negatively affect the reputation and marketing ability of the photographer.
WHERE SHOULD I DO MY SESSION?
I always encourage you to choose a location that is meaningful to you or that you might have special access to with your personal network. I can also provide plenty of recommendations! Do you love urban or industrial areas? You may want to consider heading downtown. Or maybe.. do you love tall pine trees, parks and gardens, or to be by the water? Then let's find the right combo that fits your style out in nature. All of this helps narrow down the perfect spot to reflect who you are and where you feel most at home.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Confidence is the best accessory! You'll like any image of yourself more when you are wearing clothes you feel comfortable in, that flatter your silhouette, and that have colors which complement your features.
WHERE CAN I PRINT MY IMAGES?
You'll be able to print high quality professional images, photo books, wallets, gifts, and keepsakes directly from your online gallery. I also provide you with a print release when you download your photos so that you can print your images at any location of your choosing.
