Get ready for a lot of updates in the next month as Katzie Truso Photography transitions over to its new name

…..*drumroll*…

Why the change, Katzie?

It’s time. I knew for years that this day would come when I got married and was no longer a Truso, but what I didn’t expect when I met (my now husband) Ben was that he would love the art of photography and the people we serve through it just as much as I do.

I thought for months and months about if I should keep or change the name. As life played out, the answer became clear when Ben entered stage right.

 

From friend, to boyfriend, to fiancé, to husband, and from wedding date +1, to bag carrier, to second shooter… It’s time that Ben gets the full promotion to business partner too. He puts in so much work behind the scenes, and it’s more than just that muscle power 😉 💪

It also made sense when we talked together about our mission in life:
to serve others and glorify God with the gifts he has given us.

Photography is the way we’ve decided to answer that calling together as husband and wife.

It is so much more than just “for the insta” to us, because we get to meet, connect and form lasting relationships with every person who comes in front of the lens.

This rebrand just makes it easy for that friendship to begin with us starting that introduction!

We’re announcing today because it’s the two year anniversary since our first date! It’s a full circle for us of the first time we teamed up in life for something greater than ourselves. What better way to celebrate than doing it again?!

Let’s get that champagne poppin’ and officially welcome Ben to the team!
