Do you have a fancy new title of fiancée ringing in your ears? Speaking of rings, isn’t that engagement ring sparkle distracting in the best possible way?! But after the confetti comes a litany of tasks to plan your actual wedding.
When couples start creating their budget and figuring out what’s most important to them, it’s pretty clear to see that Pinterest and Instagram understand material beauty, but if you’re anything like us then you likely want something much more than that for your wedding day. You want the beauty of the divine to be evident to everyone present. You likely want your guests to walk way understanding God’s love for His people even more because of your witness at the altar, saying your vows and receiving sacramental graces as husband and wife that will support you in this great mission and vocation that He has called you to.
So, we compiled a list of Catholic wedding vendors in the St. Paul and Minneapolis area who can help make that vision come to life.As you’re choosing the church, the reception, and asking your bridal party to stand by your side, let me tell you firsthand how nice it is to have a vendor team around you that is Catholic and just gets it when it comes planning the sacramental part of your wedding day. We’re confident you’ll find just that in all of the recommendations below. Either because we’ve worked with them personally OR because they came highly recommended from local catholic women in the Blessed is She Minnesota Facebook group.
Catholic Wedding Planners
A wedding planner is usually one of the first stops on a couple’s list of vendors to hire because they can help alleviate a lot of the stress when it comes to planning your wedding. Whether its full service planning or just an extra hand on the wedding day, they’re such a valuable part of your wedding team!

THE Go-to DJs for Catholic couples. Y’all, we have seen dozens of photographers in our careers as photographers. We can guarantee you that these are not only great DJ’s because of their awesome character and faith, but also for their skill at actually keeping your guests on the dance floor! When we photograph weddings, other vendors like the catering team or videographers constantly come up to us saying they can’t believe what a difference it is to have them over other companies. As a bonus, they’re the type of guys who will pray with you in the process.
Catholic Hair Stylists
“Own that ponytail. Work that up-do!” Some hair stylists are willing to come to your getting ready space on the wedding day. This takes stress of the bride and her ladies who are getting glammed up by removing extra travel time from your timeline. Do the bride’s hair and makeup first so that she’s ready to go for pictures.
Catholic Makeup Artist
Even if you don’t wear a lot of makeup in your daily life, getting your makeup professionally done for your wedding day adds a polished look to the final images. Your engagement session is a great opportunity to do a trial run and to get a sense for how your makeup will look in photographs. Bring examples to help convey what you are looking for and be honest and open with your makeup artist to ensure you L-O-V-E your bridal look.
As a married couple ourselves, there is nothing more treasured to me than hearing us say our wedding vows to one another. Getting to hear the priest’s homily and reliving all of the toasts and speeches from our reception are priceless. These videographers not only capture this once in a lifetime day with beauty and reverence but they offer a wide range of services. From live streaming guests in who can’t attend in person, recording your ceremony, offering highlight films from the day, and more, you are going to have incredible memories to look back on each anniversary and share with future generations.
Catholic Wedding Musicians
Bring the hearts and minds of your guests to God through beautiful music.

Of course we gotta do a plug for ourselves in this wedding vendor roundup 😉 However if we are already booked for your wedding date, but you still want someone who will capture your Catholic wedding mass with high quality and reverence, these are some other great photographers to check out who serve the Twin Cities area! There is a mix of different editing styles in these references which is another important factor in choosing your photographer and how you want to remember the memories from your wedding day.
